Aerium Grant for Teacher’s Drone Training Seminar

The Pilot Mind Drone Academy will play host to advanced drone pilot training for a small group of Pennsylvania’s High School teachers. Funded by Aerium, an aviation education advocate and non-profit headquartered in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, this three-day workshop will cover a variety of topics in drone aviation, ranging from the economics of drone jobs, STEM applications, training and test methods, the AOPA STEM curriculum, as well as plenty of hands on drone flying throughout the training.

WHAT? Aviation/Drone Training for Instruction by High School Teachers (training schedule coming shortly).
WHEN? August 4, 5, and 6, 2025 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day.
WHERE? The Pilot Mind Drone Academy, 1192 Sathers Drive, Pittston, PA. 18640
HOW? This training is being offered to high school teachers from Pennsylvania, who are interested in implementing or advancing aviation/drone programming for their students.
COST? Through the generosity of Aerium Aviation, this training is available at no cost to the teachers that qualify and participate in this year’s session.
PROCESS? Please complete the application below for consideration of this training. There is limited space available, so please apply early.
MATERIALS? This aviation/drone training workshop will provide a drone training kit for all those who participate in the workshop. Teachers will a drone, Hover Table pilot training course, and other educational tools back to their school to further support your STEM and aviation classes.
